In Italy domestic accidents of some relevance are hundreds of thousands each year.

Considering only fatal accidents, these are more domestic than road accidents or at work.

If we add murders – more than half are perpetrated within the family – to these data, we could infer that, as the magistrate Piercamillo Davigo claims, statistically, «it’s more dangerous to stay home than go out.».
